Faculty Development Programs: Empowering Educators and Advancing Skills
This quarter, we successfully conducted multiple Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) that reached over 350 participants, equipping educators with the essential skills to stay ahead in the fast-evolving technology landscape.
- FDP on Linux Programming and IoT: Over 250 participants attended this program, enabling educators to integrate Linux programming and IoT concepts into their curricula, ensuring that students are prepared for the tech challenges of tomorrow.
- Onsite FDP for Professors Across 8 Colleges: Conducted across multiple colleges in Andhra Pradesh, this program trained 100+ professors on modern semiconductor technologies, providing them with in-depth knowledge to guide their students through the ever-changing tech landscape.
Empowering Engineering Students: Workshops, Webinars, and SoC Training
At Maven Silicon, we are dedicated to upskilling engineering students to meet the demands of the semiconductor and embedded systems industries. This quarter, we focused on several impactful initiatives designed to empower students with practical knowledge and industry insights.
- Quarterly Webinar on Programming Robotic Arms for Industrial Automation: This session, attended by over 400 participants, provided hands-on insights into programming robotic arms for industrial automation. It showcased advanced programming techniques and how automation is revolutionizing manufacturing sectors worldwide.
- VLSI and Embedded Systems Workshop: Hosted at a leading university in Bangalore, this on-campus workshop upskilled over 160 students. The event provided them with hands-on exposure to current industry trends and technologies.
- SoC Design Training Across 140+ Colleges: Through our ongoing collaborations, we’ve empowered over 6,700 students in System-on-Chip (SoC) Design, enhancing their readiness for careers in the semiconductor industry.

In this workshop, we successfully trained 30+ experienced chip designers on RISC-V SoC Design. Through this Initiative, we are empowering engineers across Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines with advanced workshop in RISC-V SoC Design. This initiative provides engineers with deep technical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience, enabling them to effectively contribute to the fast-growing RISC-V ecosystem.

A Complete Overview of RISC-V Open ISA: Empowering Engineers to Design Next-Gen Chips
In this video, our Founder and CEO, Mr. P R Sivakumar , explains the layered architecture of the RISC-V open ISA and how chip designers design various chips, such as simple embedded microcontrollers and complex desktop and cloud server chips/SoCs, using various layers of the RISC-V Instruction Set Architecture. Engineers can easily understand all the layers of the RISC-V ISA, including the Unprivileged and Privileged architectures, such as the Base ISA, Extensions, Machine ISA, Supervisor ISA, and Hypervisor Extension.
